Four (4) chickens shall be permitted on lots of 0.75- acres or greater and one (1) additional chicken shall be permitted for each additional acre on the lot, in accordance with Section 58.533 (b) of the City of Mequon Code of Ordinances.
There is a one time initial fee of $65 and an annual renewal fee of $20. If you currently own chickens or you are interested in having chickens on your property, these forms must be completed. Please fill out and bring to City Hall or send in the mail with a check made out to the City of Mequon.
