Economic Development Board

Mission
The mission of the Economic Development Board is to stimulate and encourage economic development in the City. The Board, serving in an advisory role to the Planning Commission and the Common Council, shall manage and administer the City’s economic development program, recommend action on long and short range elements of the program, recommend an annual work program, and recommend an annual budget for its activities programs.

Membership
The board shall consist of the following nine voting members: Eight citizen members nominated by the mayor; and one aldermanic representative.

The citizen members should generally have recognized experience and qualifications in business, development, finance, marketing or other professional fields which will be an asset to the administration of the city's economic development program.

Meetings
The Economic Development Board meets on the fourth Tuesday each month.
