What You’ll Do
- Provides routine maintenance and custodial services to all park facilities, grounds, and various City-owned properties.
- Performs support services for various rentals and events throughout the parks and open spaces of Mequon.
- Efforts support multiple departments and divisions and are performed cooperatively with the Building & Grounds, Forestry, and Highway Divisions.
- Work is performed under the general supervision of the Buildings & Grounds Superintendent and the Buildings & Grounds Foreman.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with performing preventative and reactive building maintenance, supplemental custodial work, and other maintenance tasks associated with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) strongly preferred or obtained within one year of hire.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and safe driving record at time of hire and throughout employment.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a Certified Pool Operator’s (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) license within one year of hire.
Benefits Available To You
Current salary range: $55,276 - $74,623. Starting salary: $55,276 - $59,419+/-, DOQ. The City offers a competitive benefits package including:

Work Hours and Environment
