The City of Mequon is soliciting bids for the installation of a comprehensive video surveillance and access control
system at three park facilities: River Barn Park, Reuter Pavilion, and Rotary Pavilion. The project includes the
furnishing and installation of security cameras, video intercoms, electronic access control systems, recording
equipment, network infrastructure, wireless communication equipment, battery backup systems, camera poles,
underground cabling, and all associated programming and commissioning necessary to provide a centralized
security and facility access management platform.


Work includes installation of access control hardware at designated building entrances and restroom facilities,
deployment of AI-enabled surveillance cameras covering park grounds, parking lots, playgrounds, athletic facilities,
and pavilion areas, installation of four (4) camera poles, underground trenching and cabling for remote camera
locations, wireless point-to-point communications equipment, and integration of all systems into a unified
management platform. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, testing, and startup services
required for a complete and operational system.
 

Major Bid Items Include:

  • Access control systems at River Barn Park, Reuter Pavilion, and Rotary Pavilion.
  • Video surveillance camera systems at all three locations.
  • Four (4) galvanized camera pole installations.
  • Underground cable trenching and direct-burial network cabling.
  • Wireless point-to-point network communication links.
  • System programming, testing, training, and commissioning.
